Limited Warranty — Wabi Baby

We build products to a high standard and want you to be happy with your purchase. If you’re having trouble, please contact us before starting a return—many issues are fixable with quick troubleshooting.

1) Who this warranty covers

  • Applies only to the original end-user consumer who purchased from Wabi Baby or an authorized retailer.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • Does not apply to retailers, secondhand owners, or commercial/institutional use.

  • No one (including retailers) can change or extend this warranty on our behalf.

2) What this warranty covers

We warrant that our products will be free from substantial defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use and when used according to product instructions during the Warranty Period.

If a covered defect happens during the Warranty Period, we will choose one of the following:

  • Repair the product, or

  • Replace the product, or

  • Provide a replacement of comparable value.

3) Warranty period

The Warranty Period begins on the date of retail purchase by the original end-user consumer.

  • Steam sanitizers: 1 year

  • UVC sanitizers: 1 year

  • Exception: Lot number ST001P00013 has a 2-year warranty.

4) Replacement terms

  • Replacements may be new or refurbished, at our discretion.

  • We may require the defective product to be returned before a replacement is sent.

  • Return of the defective product may be required at your expense.

5) What this warranty does not cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, accidents, drops/impact, neglect, or abnormal use

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Failure to follow instructions, warnings, or maintenance guidance

  • Improper installation, storage, maintenance, or cleaning

  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or use of unapproved accessories/parts

  • Power issues (including surges) or environmental causes (heat, humidity, etc.)

  • Water/liquid damage, including immersion in water or liquids entering the unit

  • Shipping/transit damage (if your item arrives damaged, contact us right away)

Country limitation: This warranty applies only if the product is used in the country where it was purchased. Products that require modification/adaptation to operate elsewhere (and any damage caused by those changes) are not covered.

6) Disclaimer of other warranties

To the extent allowed by law, this Limited Warranty is the only express warranty we provide. If implied warranties apply under your local law, they are limited to the Warranty Period above. Some states/provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.

7) Limitation of damages

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for a defective product is limited to the amount paid to us for that product. Some states/provinces do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8) Your legal rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state, province, or country.

9) How to request warranty service

To request service, please complete our Warranty Request Form and include:

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

  • Model name

  • Serial number and/or lot number (if available)

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos/video if applicable
